International Institute for Tax & Finance offers an intellectually rich and stimulating array of academic programs and workshops. These are all taught by our distinguished and uniquely accessible faculty in a highly supportive atmosphere. Most of these programs and workshops are delivered on an international basis, but some have specific reference to particular jurisdictions.
Our student-centered academic programs and workshops are engaging and interactive, and offers balanced, comprehensive curriculum that will prepare our graduates/ attendees for practice in any area of taxation and finance.
All program materials are delivered through the LexisNexis Blackboard system, via the internet and lectures are conducted live via Wimba.com, every week, and are fully interactive. This interactive system gives students a truly unique study environment that assists with balancing already busy professional lives.
The academic programs are split into the following categories:
The International Institute for Tax & Finance and Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) of San Diego, California have designed 3 post graduate programs that are aimed specifically at the South African Market.
IITF and TJSL have developed the programs in such a way that each program can stand on its own, with international certification, or deliver credits towards the LLM in International Tax and Finance.
The programs on offer are:
1. Higher Diploma in Taxation;
2. International Higher Diploma in Taxation;
3. Advanced Diploma in Tax Administration;
4. Advanced Diploma in Payroll Taxes.
All the above courses offer credits towards the TJSL LLM in International Tax and Finance.

IITF offers an additional 18 Semester courses (10 weeks). These are all international courses, created and lectured by an international faculty provided by Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
All these courses have been carefully constructed to give the student a well balanced and comprehensive education in the fields of tax and finance. Each semester course offers credits towards the TJSL LLM in International Tax and Finance.
This includes unique study material and lectures via the IITF internet based lecture theatre, so these courses can be attended from anywhere in the world.

In a world where people do not always have time to spend time on elaborate programs, these short courses are aimed at giving vital new information and/ or updates on existing information to those who seek it.
The short courses vary in length, but to a maximum of 10 weeks.
This includes unique study material and lectures via the IITF internet based lecture theatre, so these courses can be attended from anywhere in the world.
