APPLICATIONS FOR 2012 ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED

Information is a key element when doing business and the basic lack of information out of Africa (especially tax information) has made it difficult for organizations to do business in Africa. On top of this African tax authorities are becoming far more sophisticated, making it extremely important for organizations to understand what they are dealing with in Africa, from a tax perspective.

Only recently, as reported in the press, a number of international organizations doing business in Africa have suffered severe damage (and reputational damage) from not paying attention to the increased sophistication of tax authorities in the region.

The International Institute for Tax and Finance is proud to present a 10-week program, looking specifically at doing business in Africa from an international tax perspective.

This program focuses on current key tax issues such as TRANSFER PRICING, Exchange of Information, Anti-Avoidance, DTA’s and Tax Risk Management, in the following regions:

  • Southern Africa (including South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Zimbabwe & Zambia);
  • East Africa (including Kenya, Uganda, Malawi & Tanzania);
  • West Africa (including Nigeria, Ghana & Liberia); and
  • Mauritius;

This program is completed over 10 weeks.
